Two species of periodical cicadas emerged in large numbers in parts of northeast Illinois and neighboring states in the spring of 2024. Join Dr. Carl Strang, former interpretive naturalist for the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, for a fascinating discussion on cicadas.
